System Description
The typical flow configuration consists of coarse solids
separation, chemical addition (optional) and fine filtration
of the water in deep bed multi media filters.
The filtered water is disinfected using hypochlorite solution
or chlorine gas.
|
|
- Primary Separation takes place in an automatic
self cleaning 863 series OdisMatic
- Coagulation: (optional) Coagulant/ Polymer is
aimed at removing the colloidal particles from the influent
in order to improve the permeate quality.
- Multimedia Depth Filtration: performed by an array
of multimedia filters with high depth media bed for final effluent
polish at relatively low filtration rate.
- Disinfection: injects hypochlorite/chlorine gas
to remove all pathogenic microorganisms from the treated water.
The disinfecting unit is fully automatic and controlled by residual
chlorine controller.
- Automation and Control: the systems are equipped
with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) which supervises the
entire automatic functioning of the separation and filtration
process. The systems backwash automatically by P or when a preset
time interval elapses.
