System Description
- Primary Screening takes
place in the bar screen strainer
- Separation of Oil and Grease
- Activated Sludge Biological
Treatment essentially involves bringing the water to be
purified into contact with a bacterial floc in the presence
of oxygen (aeration).
- The system includes air blowers and
diffusers placed on the bottom of the aeration tank, which
direct the air flow into the waste-water to dismantle
the organic load.
- Solid-Liquid Separation
and Clarification takes place in the SOLIQUATOR
- On-Line Liquid Polymer
Grade Preparation and Injection is performed by an ODIS
PP series on-line polymer preparation device - an automatic
unit specially designed to ensure continuous preparation
and injection of the polymer solution.
- Return of Activated Sludge
to Aeration Pools - the stage at which activated sludge
that has settled in the SOLIQUATOR is returned to the
aeration pools.
- Multi-media Depth Filtration
is performed by an array of multi-media filters with a
high-depth media bed for final effluent polish at a relatively
low filtration rate. Effluent water quality acceptable
for unlimited irrigation.
- Disinfection involves
the injection of hypochlorite in order to remove all pathogenic
microorganisms from the treated water. The disinfecting
unit is fully automatic and controlled by residual chlorine
controller.
